1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team will contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to achieve warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical warehouse tasks.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills for inventory management.
• Capability to work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
