1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will collaborate with your peers and warehouse leadership to maintain high standards of efficiency, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment; unload incoming shipments.
• Clean and maintain warehouse appearance to meet safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and product quality.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Adaptable, positive attitude with a drive for success.
• Organized, efficient, and able to communicate effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.
