Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling available resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading and unloading of freight.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe operations.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and foster safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or related fields, with supervisory experience being a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight, imports, exports, and proper handling techniques.
