Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN to join our clinical team at Genesis Healthcare. In this role, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse to oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers. Your responsibilities will include conducting Infection Prevention activities, managing outbreaks, monitoring employee health, and reporting infections.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Infection Prevention and Control activities.
• Manage outbreak situations effectively.
• Provide education and resources to staff.
• Conduct surveillance to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years in long-term care nursing.
