Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the loading/unloading of freight to ensure timely, safe, and damage-free operations on assigned shifts. You will lead a team, maintain load plans, and foster a safe working environment, all while upholding our values-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for safe and efficient freight operations.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure safe vehicle operations.
• Assign and coordinate job tasks, provide training, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure safety protocols for hazardous materials handling and storage.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on our core values.
• Support department goals through teamwork and effective communication.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center or transportation sector.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight operations, imports, exports, and proper handling techniques.
