ABF Freight, a part of ArcBest, is seeking an Operations Supervisor I to join our expanding team. As a trusted leader in the transportation and logistics industry, we are looking for individuals with The Skill & The Will to drive customer satisfaction through efficient and safe freight operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback to team members.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and promote safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Support department goals in a team-oriented and values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center or transportation industry desired.
• Supervisory experience is a plus; knowledge of freight handling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
