Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant and play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Maintain cleanliness according to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Work effectively independently and in a team
• Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
• Combination of education and experience considered
