Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are neat
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
