Job Description

Whole Foods Market is currently seeking Team Members for various departments, including Bakery, Customer Service, Grocery, Meat, Prepared Foods, Produce, Seafood, Specialty, and Whole Body. As a Team Member, you will perform duties related to customer service, stocking, and sanitation in your assigned department. This position requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare, package, weigh, and price products for sale.
• Ensure product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked cases and shelves.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling techniques.
• Follow established procedures for prepping, storing, and merchandising products.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment.
• Report safety hazards and violations promptly.

Desired Work Experience

• No prior retail experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to learn about products in the department.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Passion for natural foods and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for 6-8 hours.
• Exposure to various temperatures and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to use tools and heavy machinery.
