1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. This full-time position offers up to $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, with an average of 30-35 hours per week. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming trucks.
• Clean the warehouse and participate in inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues to management.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse.
