1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise strategically, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety standards are met. As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to achieving warehouse goals and maintaining a productive and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products, work in varying temperatures, and operate industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
