Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager and take on a pivotal role in store management. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring performance targets are met, developing operational plans, and fostering team growth through training and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback on product offerings.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring processes.
  • Supervise daily store operations and escalate issues when needed.
  • Maintain inventory, uphold cleanliness standards, and ensure product quality.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring customer service excellence.

Requirements

  • 18 years old or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Prior retail experience, with management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Combination of education and experience considered.
  • Prior management experience is advantageous.
