Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. Your responsibilities will include identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team while maintaining a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor competitive environment and make recommendations.
  • Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
  • Resolve operational customer concerns and maintain store cleanliness standards.
  • Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.
  • Supervise team operations and ensure highest level of customer service.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
