Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. Your responsibilities will include identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team while maintaining a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor competitive environment and make recommendations.
- Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
- Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
- Resolve operational customer concerns and maintain store cleanliness standards.
- Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.
- Supervise team operations and ensure highest level of customer service.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Prior management experience preferred.
- Experience in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
