Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Collaboration with the ALDI team and delivering top-notch customer service are vital aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies, uphold security protocols, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks as per company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and within a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Meet applicable state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience considered.
