Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating with team members.
• Communicate effectively with store management, offer feedback, and uphold company policies.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in inventory management.
• Operate cash registers following cash policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company procedures, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Knowledge of general cleaning procedures and company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
