We are looking for a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, using your expertise in tractor/trailer operations and safe driving practices.

General Description of Duties:

• Pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize proper techniques and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
• Actual duties and schedule may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Good stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
