Job Description

We are seeking a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time position involves the pickup and delivery of cargo, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring timely transportation services.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Loading and unloading of trailers using standard techniques and technology.
• Duties and schedules may vary depending on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Class-A CDL with specific endorsements and a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
