Job Description

ArcBest II ABF Freight is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in Honolulu, HI. As a vital part of our operations, the City Driver will be responsible for pickup and delivery of cargo utilizing the latest technology and procedures to ensure efficient service and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, primarily in proximity to the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize proper techniques and procedures for loading and unloading trailers, similar to dock workers.
• Adapt duties and schedule according to terminal location requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred; training available for less experienced drivers.
• Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Stable work record and strong work ethic.
• Clean driving record with successful MVR checks.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
