Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Central Vermont Medical Center. As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will work in a fast-paced, 24-bed unit, providing care for patients of all ages and medical conditions. Our nurses are trained in specialized areas and are encouraged to pursue certifications to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
Responsibilities
- Treat and care for patients with diverse medical and psychiatric diagnoses.
- Participate in training programs and obtain certifications in emergency nursing.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license and at least one year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ESI, or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
