Job Description
ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Full Time RN to provide skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community. The successful candidate will support the Newark, DE and surrounding area, working day shift hours, one weekend a month, 2 holidays a year, and two on-call shifts a month. This position offers competitive pay rates ranging from $32.00 to $44.00 per hour, with expected hours between 20 to 40 per week.
Responsibilities
- Give skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
- Develop and implement care plans, which are goal oriented and patient centered.
- Must be IV proficient or willing to train and perform IV functions.
- Develop plan for discharge of patients.
Requirements
- BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain BSN within three years of start date.
- Current DE RN license or compact state license.
- 2 years of HomeHealth RN experience within the last 12 months.
- Previous Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical experience preferred.
