Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a Social Worker, you will provide clinical services and psychosocial assessments to patients and their families, addressing various challenges such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, family relationships, and counseling related to medical procedures and aging.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments.
  • Address common patient and family problems.
  • Assist with discharge planning and counseling related to end-of-life issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient well-being.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) preferred.
  • Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) certification.
