Critical Infrastructure Manager I

Job Description

We are looking for a Critical Infrastructure Manager I to join Flexential, taking charge of overseeing the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment in our data center(s). As a CIM I, you will be integral in ensuring mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher. Additionally, you will act as a key technical resource for various teams within the organization, contributing to efforts that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Execute all aspects of data center operations to achieve 99.999% uptime and compliance with SLAs.
• Manage vendor relationships and drive operational excellence initiatives.
• Prepare reports on facility performance and customer utilization.
• Develop maintenance procedures and provide training for operations staff.
• Conduct facility rounds and oversee disaster recovery exercises.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in critical infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data center operations.
• Training in soft skills, management, and emotional intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical certifications.
• 3+ years of data center experience with equipment operation focus.
• Advanced technical depth and complexity.

Physical Requirements

• Sit for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, and travel occasionally.
• Stand or walk for 50% of the time.
• Engage in moderate or advanced keyboard usage.

Salary

Base pay range: $81,100.00 - $91,900.00 (depending on experience).
