Job Description
We are looking for hardworking individuals to join our warehouse team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Entry Level employee. In this role, you will play an essential part in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse operates in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, providing a dynamic work environment. With comprehensive training and a focus on safety, we ensure that our associates have the skills to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and maintain sanitation standards.
Requirements
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and lift up to 45 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
