Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse workers play a vital role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores, ensuring our customers receive high-quality items. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming goods.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, frequently.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
