Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store staff, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and ensure accurate processing of customer purchases.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store by stocking shelves and displaying merchandise neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Conduct inventory counts, monitor stock accuracy, and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to company policies, cash handling procedures, and maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
