Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to maintain a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness in the store by performing general cleaning duties.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and ensure security protocols.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining data confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
