Job Description
As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers.

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week
Salary
Starting wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Perform cashiering duties, cleaning tasks, and stocking shelves.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to company cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with established company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Ability to operate a cash register and necessary equipment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
