Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with team members and providing exceptional customer service are essential aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and handling equipment like floor scrubbers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
