Job Description
We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Monitor inventory and provide feedback on products
- Adhere to cash policies, uphold company procedures, and maintain security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register and various equipment efficiently
- Work independently and within a team environment
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
