Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and maintain store cleanliness
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
