Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team as a Store Team Member at Aldi. As part of the store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. Collaborate with the ALDI team, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to a positive store environment. This is a Full-Time position with an average of 32-40 hours weekly and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, maintain merchandise displays, and ensure a neat store environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational aspects to enhance store performance.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Comply with company policies, maintain confidentiality, and perform assigned duties diligently.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Education and work background combination providing relevant knowledge.
• Ability to meet local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
