Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to create a positive shopping experience for our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. values consistently in your role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure shelves are well-stocked.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters.
• Participate in inventory procedures and follow established cash policies.
• Adhere to company guidelines and ensure document security and confidentiality.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting up to 45 pounds, and moving around the store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
• Proficiency in using store equipment and performing cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales, if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
