Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members and leadership to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Inspect product quality and address any concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.
• Complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive, resilient, and driven for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
