1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time role offers an average of 30-35 hours per week at a starting wage of up to $18.50 - $24.50 per hour, depending on shift and schedule. As a warehouse team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse appearance, and collaborating with peers and leadership to optimize processes and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, basic arithmetic proficiency, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
