Job Description - Assistant Retail Supervisor at Aldi

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational plans, and training and growing the team. This is a full-time position with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for business decisions.
• Participate in the interviewing process and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of retail management principles.
• Prior retail experience and management experience preferred.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
