Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. In this role, you will work closely with the Chef to ensure the preparation and presentation of meals meet our quality standards. Responsibilities include food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, running the kitchen in the absence of the Chef, and collaborating with the Food and Beverage Manager for inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in food preparation and maintaining food quality.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Run kitchen operations in Chef's absence.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager for inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to work in changing temperatures and environments.
