Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Charter Senior Living. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while ensuring the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and resolve food service problems promptly with team members and leaders.
• Prepare and assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene practices.
• Clean work areas and equipment, store food properly, and maintain organization in storage areas.
• Assist in dishwashing and support utility person as needed.

Requirements

• Serve Safe Certification may be required.
• Willingness to work with the elderly.
• Proficiency in English and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and be on feet for extended periods.
• Background check required for employment.
