Job Description
Join ALDI as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. As part of the ALDI team, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining the overall store appearance.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and store issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts following guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, safeguard document confidentiality, and uphold security standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Perform cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work autonomously and in a team setting.
- Maintain organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling/selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience is a plus.
