Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of the store, you will be responsible for various tasks including cashiering, merchandising, and ensuring a clean store environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Follow established cash policies and company procedures.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
  • Other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask.
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience preferred.
