Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of the store, you will be responsible for various tasks including cashiering, merchandising, and ensuring a clean store environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Follow established cash policies and company procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
- Other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
