Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience, and maintaining the store's appearance. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, manage general cleaning tasks, and organize merchandise displays.
• Offer top-notch customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide feedback to management regarding products, inventory, and other store-related matters.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow cash handling policies to ensure minimal losses.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and various types of equipment.
• Ability to interpret and implement company procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
