Job Description
As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer shopping experience. From stocking product and cashiering to providing top-notch customer service, you will collaborate with the ALDI team to maintain a well-organized and welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with care.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers throughout their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Ability to perform general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Dedication to organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations pertaining to retail sales, including alcoholic beverages.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience demonstrating relevant knowledge.
