Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store activities, improving operating results, developing the team, and ensuring overall store performance. Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Understand and communicate the company values to create teamwork.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in the interview process for store personnel.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and signage standards.
  • Assist in achieving store payroll and total loss budget goals.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older to be employed at Aldi.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior retail management experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and personnel costs.
