Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, M.A.P. Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback to management on inventory, product issues, and customer concerns.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses and uphold company standards.
- Follow all established company policies, procedures, and security measures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at ALDI.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register with accuracy.
- Safely operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently or within a team environment.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
