Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Customer service-oriented with cash register experience
- Ability to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
