Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and efficiently. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers and collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Experience with general cleaning and adherence to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking capability.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
