Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the store's merchandise is well stocked, assisting customers at the cashier, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct store inventory counts, and report any issues to management
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures to prevent losses
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Ability to safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
- Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
