Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with your team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies and safeguard confidential information.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Skilled in general cleaning tasks and following company procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
