Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service and efficient store operations. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior work experience in retail is preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Combination of education and experience equivalent
