Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Full-Time Store Associate, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, stocking product, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your collaborative efforts with the ALDI team will ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to the management team.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and document confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt, courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
