Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our dedicated team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store conditions, and arrange merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock monitoring.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
- Ability to deliver prompt and polite customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of cash registers.
- Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
- Capability to meet cleaning standards and adhere to policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in retail settings preferred.
- A mix of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
