Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our dedicated team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain clean store conditions, and arrange merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team and management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock monitoring.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and polite customer service.
  • Efficient and accurate operation of cash registers.
  • Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
  • Capability to meet cleaning standards and adhere to policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in retail settings preferred.
  • A mix of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
